About

DARA-151 is a flat-roof, single-storey family house from the DARA series, defined by its distinctive angled layout and strong horizontal geometry. It is the larger of the two DARA versions, offering increased living space while preserving the series’ characteristic form and clear spatial logic.

The interior is organised around a spacious open living, dining and kitchen area that opens directly onto the main terrace. The angled footprint creates sheltered outdoor spaces and long exterior lines, while allowing daylight to enter the interior from multiple directions. A second terrace spans the full width of the house at the main entrance, providing a clear and practical arrival zone.

The layout includes four bedrooms, making the house well suited for larger families or flexible long-term use. The master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom and walk in wardrobe, while a second bathroom is paired with a sauna, adding a dedicated wellness function to the plan. Private rooms are positioned to allow clear separation from shared living areas, ensuring comfort and privacy throughout the house.

All rooms are arranged on one level, supporting easy everyday use and long-term accessibility. Storage, technical spaces and circulation are integrated efficiently into the plan, keeping the interior open and functional despite the complex geometry of the building.

DARA-151 is built using prefabricated timber-frame construction, ensuring precision, energy efficiency and consistent build quality. Insulation levels, exterior cladding, windows and roof solutions can be adjusted to suit local climate conditions and national building regulations while preserving the architectural character of the model.

We encourage you to use the configurator to explore available options and get an indicative price. Many additional choices — including façade finishes, colours and technical details — can be defined together during the project stage.

    • Roof material

We use BMI Icopal for bitumen roofing. Black and gray colours are available and can be selected during the final design phase. Additionally - all our roofing options include a complete Ruukki drainage system as standard.

      • Bitumen

    • Roof panels

We deliver roof and floor panels without ceiling-side plasterboard. This leaves the cavities open for you to install electrical, ventilation, and other utilities on-site without having to cut through finished surfaces.

    • External wall material

The final façade cladding is delivered and installed on-site. We use double-painted spruce cladding, Thermowood Natural, or Swisspearl's Patina Original fiber cement boards. Colours, board orientations (vertical or horizontal), and various other design options are selected during the final design phase.

    • External wall panels

External wall elements are factory-produced with insulation and both internal and external membranes. We deliver and install these panels without interior-side plasterboard, leaving the cavities open for you to install electrical, ventilation, and other utilities on-site. Internal wall panels are delivered with gypsum boards on one side; the opposite side remains open for utility installation.

Electrical boxes, conduit routes, ventilation or plumbing systems can be integrated into the project drawings and pre-installed in the factory during the manufacturing process. • This calculation is informational, non-binding, and does not constitute a final offer. It is based on the price list valid as of 01.02.2026 and is subject to change without notice.
  • Final pricing depends on order specifics, material selection, technical solutions, site conditions, logistics, labour costs, and market conditions at the time of production and execution.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivery and assembly costs appear in the configurator only after a specific country flag is selected. This allows us to calculate specific regional rates, as delivery distances and labour laws differ wildly between markets. The English version provides general information and excludes these estimates.

Structural design & technical documentation

Structural design and technical documentation are included in our pricing. Our engineering team prepares the construction drawings, structural calculations, energy performance data, and material specifications required for manufacturing and construction in the destination country.

Foundations

Foundation construction is not included in the price. We provide a precise foundation plan, but the customer is responsible for soil testing, site preparation, and the actual construction of the foundation based on our technical drawings.

Interior Finishing

We do not provide turnkey interior services. Internal doors, floor coverings, priming, painting, and tiling are not included in our scope or calculations (unless specifically selected as an option). The building is delivered with internal walls prepared for your chosen finish after technical systems are finalized.

Not included and provided by the client

The following items are outside our scope and must be provided by the client: foundation and structural floor construction; electrical wiring and distribution; ventilation, plumbing, heating systems, and interior priming (unless specifically selected as an option), painting, and tiling; construction waste removal; on-site mobile WC and worker accommodation; crane and operator services; temporary heating; customs duties; scaffolding rental and assembly; on-site unloading; and any bank guarantee or letter of credit fees.
