Built on Experience
We started as a general construction company and grew into a full-scale manufacturer of energy-efficient timber-frame houses. Over the years we have expanded our production capacity, strengthened our processes, and built long-term cooperation with European partners.
Through shifting market cycles, raw-material fluctuations, the COVID-19 period, and multiple regional economic slowdowns, we have maintained stable operations. These challenges improved our planning accuracy, supply-chain resilience, and our ability to deliver projects reliably under changing conditions.

Today we manufacture both standard and fully customised timber-frame houses, ensuring technical accuracy, durability, and efficient production. Most of our output is exported to Norway, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and other European markets. We also provide on-site assembly services in Latvia and abroad.
We work with individual clients as well as developers, architects, and construction companies, adapting every project to the technical requirements and local building regulations of each region.
Our Story
We have grown from a small construction company into a specialised timber-frame manufacturer supplying projects across Europe. Here is how we developed step by step.
2005
Company Established
After years in the construction industry, we founded SIA VITBŪVE and began providing a full range of construction and renovation services across Latvia.
2010
Start of Timber Frame Manufacturing
We acquired production facilities in Limbaži, adapted the premises for timber-frame manufacturing, and launched our first production line. This marked the shift toward prefabricated timber houses, followed by the first orders in Latvia and Europe.
2013
Factory Reconstruction
As demand grew, we rebuilt and upgraded the entire factory. New office space was added to improve customer service and support expanding production volumes.
2017
Production Expansion
We completed the construction of a new manufacturing hangar, significantly increasing our production capacity and allowing us to more than double our output.
2019
ISO Certification
We obtained ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications, confirming our compliance with international quality-management and environmental-management standards.
Our Factory
An important advantage of VITBŪVE is our own large manufacturing plant, specifically designed for the production of timber structures. This allows us not only to ensure high quality in our finished products but also to offer competitive prices and production volumes.
Production capacity
We can produce 20,000m² of living space annually, which translates to approximately 100 residential buildings, each with an area of 150-200m².
Manufacturing capabilities
Our equipment and machinery enable us to manufacture panels of up to 12m in length.
Facilities
We have a dedicated automated painting room, a well-organized storage area, and a convenient loading bay equipped with a gantry crane for finished products.
